The daily operations of Atoll Volunteers and Atoll Marine Centre are managed by our carefully selected international expatriates working on a voluntary basis.

The team we select for the position of Volunteer Coordinator, Marine Biologist, or Aquarium Biologist are chosen by their qualifications, field exposure, creativity, ability to multi-task, and most importantly positive energy.

All roles require sincere discipline to succeed as they all are highly responsible roles. On any day, a staff member could have several ongoing projects in addition to fulfilling their daily duties. The ability to run a local NGO dedicated to the well-being of the community and environment will be an invaluable experience for the selected applicant. The dedicated candidate will gain practical experience in the conservation or humanitarian sector and can apply these acquired skills in a future career.

As a nonprofit organization, our positions are unpaid but Atoll Volunteers will cover fixed living costs such as food, accommodation, and a weekly excursion accompanying volunteers.

The positions can range from 3-, 6-, to 12- months depending on availability and vacancies will be posted here on an as-needed basis.
